And the countdown has officially begun...

37 weeks and ready to pop!

I realized I hadn't posted a belly pic in quite awhile...so here you go! I am now officially 38 1/2 weeks...so the picture above is a little old but it is the most recent one I've taken. My feet and ankles are so swollen these days I can't imagine what will happen if this baby ends up arriving past my due date. The official due date is July 17th (a Sunday) and Dr. Priddy said if Baby Weaver decides to hang out past that date, we will schedule my induction for Friday, July 22nd. I'm heading to the doctor every Friday afternoon these days and at my last appointment I was 1 centimeter dilated and 25% effaced....which isn't much but it is something! I'm hoping for 2 centimeters when I go in this Friday. :)

Baby Weaver's Final Shower-- June 18th

The diaper cake...one of the many gifts from the hostess!

Hostas from my mom's own garden were used as the centerpieces.

The cake! It was lemon (my favorite), strawberry, and chocolate.

The party (minus a few guests who had already left)

My mom, Baby Weaver, and I :)

This post is coming about 3 weeks too late, but I wanted to be sure to update the blog with pictures from the baby shower my very generous sister threw for Baby Weaver on June 18th. It was really nice because not only did my friends from both Indy and Lafayette attend, but my family was able to come over from Illinois as well. It happened to fall on Father's Day weekend so we got to spend some time with family afterwards. My sister, Erin, (in typical Erin fashion) went above and beyond in throwing the shower. She ordered a 3 tiered cake for me with lemon cake (my favorite), spent hours making a diaper cake, and whipped up a variety of heavy appetizers for the guests. I want to thank all of my family and friends for all of the amazing shower gifts. Andy and I were amazed at how little we had to get ourselves in preparation for the baby's arrival. Baby Weaver isn't even here yet and is already so blessed to be so loved. :)
